Record ratification

A performance is submitted for ratification by the meet's Technical Delegate. The Technical Committee reviews the officials' report, timing printout, wind reading where applicable, and implement certification before the record is entered in the state record book.

Claiming a record

A record claim is made by the Technical Delegate of the competition, not by the athlete or the District Association. The claim must reach the Association within seven days with the photo-finish image, wind reading and implement certificate as applicable. Records stand until superseded.
